Thangamatha Institution maintains a zero-tolerance policy towards ragging and proudly upholds a ragging-free environment. Ragging is strictly prohibited within the campus and beyond. Any reported incident will be dealt with in accordance with the UGC Regulations on Curbing the Menace of Ragging in Higher Educational Institutions, 2009, and may result in penalties ranging from suspension to expulsion, along with fines between ₹25,000 and ₹1,00,000.
1.Any behavior on or off campus that may harm the reputation of the institution, whether intentional or unintentional, shall be considered misconduct. Activities such as loitering, damaging or defacing furniture, or writing on walls will be treated as acts of indiscipline.
2.Respect for teachers, staff, and fellow students is mandatory. Courteous greetings and respectful gestures, such as saluting faculty members, are encouraged as marks of good conduct.
3.Students are expected to stand as a sign of respect when a teacher enters the classroom.
4.Unauthorised communication between male and female students is strictly prohibited in the classroom, on campus, and while traveling on institutional transport.
5.Absolute silence must be maintained throughout the campus and in institution-provided transport, except during academic discussions in classrooms and laboratories.
6.Entry and exit from classrooms and laboratories must be conducted in an orderly and quiet manner. Female students shall be given precedence while exiting.
7.The class teacher reserves the right to assign seating arrangements for students.
8.Group complaints or petitions will not be entertained. Concerns must be raised individually and respectfully through appropriate channels.
9.Students are required to wear neat, modest, and formal attire with proper footwear at all times on campus.

1. Both the student and parent/guardian must sign a declaration agreeing to abide by all rules and regulations related to discipline and conduct.
2. Course fees must be paid on or before the specified due date. Fees once paid are non-refundable under any circumstances.
3. Attendance for class tests and internal assessments is mandatory.
4. Students residing away from their parents or guardians must have their place of residence approved by the institution.
5. Students must clear all backlogs (arrears) before being eligible to appear for the final semester examinations.
6. A minimum of 75% attendance is required to be eligible for semester examinations.
7. Students must be present in their classrooms at least five minutes before the commencement of classes.
8. Leaving the classroom without the teacher’s permission is strictly prohibited.
9. Students are expected to regularly read all notices displayed on the notice board.
10. The institution reserves the right to determine appropriate disciplinary action in cases of student misconduct.
11. Students who have received scholarships or fee concessions will be required to repay the amount if found violating any rules related to conduct and discipline.
12. Mobile phones are strictly prohibited on campus.
13. Students are not permitted to color or dye their hair while enrolled in the institution.
